Artist Biography
"Young French engineer, curious about the world outside but especially inside.
Influenced by the technical aspect and the "scientific" methods of photography (light management, set design...), and eager to discover new aspects of nature, human bodies, animals, oneself.
The works are mainly produced in an apartment, with natural light and a simple black background, like an experiment room.
The unidirectional light adds a theatrical aspect to these pictures, like actors under the spotlights, alone in the middle of the stage. We only see them.
The photos are developed in medium format, mostly on brushed aluminum to add a vintage effect. Plus, this elegant, sturdy, and very light material is ideal for displaying the work, with no glare."
