Catherine Seher was born in Paris and she is a graduate of the Beaux-Arts School in Paris.

Her paintings provoke strong and chaotic feelings among viewers; her characters are integrated in landscapes in which the borders and the recognizable landmarks are deleted.

The anonymous silhouettes suggest a deconstructed world, but a world that still has meaning. We enter a universe of unique thoughts.
