We carefully review all of the art advertisements before they are published. The following criteria are reviewed: the artist, technique/medium, size of the piece, state of conservation, pedigree/provenance, certificate of authenticity, etc. We will help you search for the perfect piece while keeping your desired subject matter and budget in mind. We will offer you a wide range of quality works. We also offer an Art Advisory service to assist and advise you during the purchasing process. This service is completely free, simply contact us at the following address: [email protected] or fill out this questionnaire so that we can better understand your taste in art and expectations.

You must create an account, by clicking here, if you wish to enjoy our many services -newsletter, list of favorites, follow your favorite artists, communicate within the community, create alerts, get personalized assistance.

C / How is the price of a piece of art determined?

The seller decides upon the price. However, if the price does not reflect the actual market value, we will ask the seller to change their price. If they refuse, the piece will be removed from our website.

D / How is the authenticity and quality of the art verified?

We carefully curate the art available on our website in order to guarantee their quality and authenticity. Our sales request form asks for as much information as possible, including photographs that show the entire piece and details as well as the certificate of authenticity. If there is any doubt about a piece we will not put it up for sale on the website.

E / Can I negotiate the posted price?

If the seller has selected the "price negotiation" option, you can try and negotiate the price of the artwork by clicking on the "make an offer" button. Your offer will be sent to the seller immediately and they can accept or refuse it, in the latter case, they can make a counter-offer.

They then have 7 business days to ship the work. If the owner has sold the piece in the meantime the sale will be cancelled. For more information, click here (T&C).

B / How long will it take to deliver?

Delivery times vary depending on the shipping company and the location of the destination. As soon as the seller confirms that they have shipped the piece the buyer will receive an email with the information concerning the shipment (tracking number, shipping company, estimated delivery date, etc.).

C / Do I have to pay customs fees?

It is the buyer's responsibility to check with the competent authorities for any customs charges. Additional costs are at the buyer's expense.

D / Who will deliver my artwork?

You have two options: hand delivery or shipping with the company of your choice.  For more information, click here (T&C).

The buyer must pay for delivery costs. The shipping cost will be specified under the artwork’s price and will be calculated automatically according to the shipment’s destination, your place of residence as well as the artwork’s dimensions and weight.

F / Returns and Refunds

The buyer has 14 days starting the day that they receive the artwork to return an order and obtain a full refund without having to justify why. Tips for packaging the artwork

Before shipping your artwork, it is imperative to properly package it as transporting the piece can damage it if it is not well protected. The following provides some tips for shipping your art to avoid damage:

The necessary materials and tools are listed as follows:
- Box cutter/scissors.
- Crepe masking tape (to attach the packaging around the piece) and large brown tape (for the outside of the package)
- Bubble wrap – place the flat side of the bubble wrap facing the artwork. This will help absorb vibrations during shipping.
- Spacers (cardboard, Masonite, etc.) can be used to protect the front and back of a painting.
- Padding (old newspapers or torn magazines): no free space should be left, ensuring that the piece is snuggly packed.
- Cardboard tube: for frameless canvases, prints and drawings on paper.
- Double or triple wall corrugated cardboard box for the outer packaging: it must be in perfect condition.

Additional packaging tips:
- When handling a work of art, always keep your hands clean. You can also use cotton gloves to avoid fingerprints.
- Be sure to indicate the top and bottom on the exterior of the package so that the artwork remains upright.
- Also remember to protect the corners, as they are vulnerable during transportation.
- The packaging must protect both the front and back of the artwork.
