Dr Janina Ramirez – Art Detective

Momus: The Podcast

This art podcast is created by a Toronto-based online magazine. It features monthly interviews with curators, international artists and writers. The podcast is hosted by Sky Goodden and Lauren Wetmore, who tastefully bring art based topics to the masses without seeming too highbrow or overly academic. Momus has released four seasons covering topics like the future of artist-run culture to “What Makes Great Art?” and of-the-moment topics discussing “What’s changed – and What Should?” in the art world amidst the corona virus pandemic and the Black Lives Matter Movement.



What Artists Listen To

This art podcast aims to create an archive of music that artists’ listen to while they are working in their studios and is interwoven with stories about the artists’ lives, creating a cohesive and exclusive look into their creative process in the studio. In Other Words

In Other Words is a podcast produced by a division of Sotheby’s called Art Agency Partners. It is hosted by Charlotte Burns and the shows’ catch phrase is, “Everything you ever wanted to know about the art market but didn’t know how to ask.” Most of the episodes feature exciting interviews with key art-world figures such as Max Hollein the director of the Metropolitan Museum of Art or discuss major topics such as gender progress in the art world. Recording Artists

Webby Award Winner for 2020, Recording Artists is a podcast from the Getty that is hosted by Helen Molesworth. Season one delves into the lives of six female artists – Alice Neel, Lee Krasner, Betye Saar, Helen Frankenthaler, Yoko Ono and Eva Hesse - featuring one artist per episode to give en extensive look at what it was like to be a female artist throughout several generations.
