Artist Biography
Takeru Amano is a Japanese artist born in 1977.
Takero Amano was immersed in the art world from an early age, his father being Yoshitaka Amano, an internationally renowned illustrator. When he returned from New York, his new influences from the Big Apple mixed with Japanese pop culture, and he gradually defined his own style.
Playing between classicism and modernity in his creations, Takeru Amaro combines the accuracy of the line with an explosive color palette from pop culture.
His work has been included in several solo and group exhibitions, notably in Paris, Tokyo and Hong Kong.
