Asko Art is here to present his work “Hope”

About me, ASKO ART.
I'm a graffiti artist. I grew up in a village called Puttershoek (near Rotterdam) in the Netherlands.

HOW IT STARTED
I was just a little child when I started drawing. At the age of 10, I started teaching myself how to draw using YouTube videos. Another fun fact, my passion for graffiti started when we were driving in the car and saw all these types of graffiti creations along the highway.

GRAFFITI
The reason I do graffiti is because I always saw it as an example when I was little. Which means I grew up with it before I even knew how to draw well.
I already spend 1/4 of my life creating spray paintings. However, it was more about getting my name out there by spraying it on the walls.

Exhibition locations:
Aldenghoor Castle, Limburg in the Netherlands
Carrousel du Louvre, Paris, France (watch the video of my exhibition here)

Artist Biography

ASKO ART, better known as Lars de Baat, I am a graffiti artist. I live in the Netherlands in a village called Puttershoek (near Rotterdam). I like to travel and discover new places in nature. As a child I could be found in nature very often. Now I still make trips to the nature in order for me to take my rest, empty my head.

HOW IT BEGAN I was just a little kid when I started drawing. At the age of 10 I started learning myself how to draw with the help of YouTube videos. Another fun fact, my passion for graffiti started when we were driving in the car and saw all those type of graffiti creations along the highway.
