Painter and illustrator, born in Sardinia, Italy in 1953.
I studied Human Sciences at the University of Sassari, in parallel with studies in Fine Arts.
In 1976 I started my career as a painter, which led me to exhibit in several cities in Italy and Europe, before settling in Paris in 1990.
There, between 1990 and 1998, I created and directed a studio of drawings for upholstery textiles in parallel to my career as a painter.
During my stay in Lebanon, between 1998 and 2016, and in parallel to group and solo exhibitions, I was the artistic director of an advertising and graphic design agency, and collaborated on theatre sets, illustrated children's books and designed jewellery and decorative objects for the National Museum of Beirut.
Since 2017, I reside in Barcelona, where I dedicate myself entirely to painting.
My painting style has evolved quite a bit over the years, but now I like to define myself as an intimate and poetic painter. Often in my works I express themes of Memory, search for Spirituality and common human denominators.
My palette of colours is much sought-after and often impregnated with Mediterranean lights. I have great admiration for the great masters of Modern Art such as Picasso, Chagall, Klee, Kandinsky and Miro, and others like Giorgio Morandi, Mimmo Paladino, Rufino Tamayo and Xenia Hausner.
