Born in Paris, Nicolas Postec left the capital to live in the South of France. Very early on, he developed a curiosity for art because his mother liked to draw with charcoal. Fascinated by contemporary art and eager to reconnect with his artistic nature, he devoted himself to painting. His adventure as a painter began in Nîmes after an atypical path. Self-taught, it is over the years that he has sought and refined his pictorial art. Nicolas drew his inspiration from his region, the Camargue, this wild land with all its magnificent shades that fascinate him! Having this fascination for the power of colours, he creates his paintings using acrylic paint and depending on the work, other materials come to complete it like posca or Indian ink. Since then, he paints on various pictorial themes...
Through his paintings, one discovers a magic in the colours combining at the same time a strength of character and an aestheticism of the curves. Her tastes are eclectic and each painting is a real discovery... The artist composes with light and colours by painting with his desires of the moment and his modern paintings integrate perfectly in a contemporary interior decoration. In order to show his passion, he exhibits in his region but also works have made the happiness of buyers abroad and particularly in the United States.
