Artist Biography

Lew Nash (born 1997, France) is a visual artist who belongs to the Color Field movement.

Lew Nash's work revolves around an intense dialogue with minimalism and the joy of color. Far from the contemporary maelstrom, Lew Nash's work can be seen as an attempt to bring some order to a chaotic world, using as few resources as possible while seeking to reduce the object to its minimal expression. For this reason, his works are characterized by the absence of organic elements in which geometric shapes, lines and colors predominate.

But contrary to the exclusion of any sense of minimalism, the artist is interested in the visual and emotional reaction of the viewer. Harmony and serenity are the first things he generates when we find ourselves in front of one of his works. This simplicity, in turn, is the opposite of the excessive consumption and modern exaggeration of the 21st century. However, beauty is something that does not need to be explained or intellectualized. Perfection is where there are no certainties but questions, sensations and intrigues.
