My name is Claire and I have always been attracted and fascinated by color. I was unaware of their power for a long time and initially engaged in music studies.
During my career as a music education and choral teacher, color continued to fascinate me and pictorial expression appealed to me.
I then started to paint in parallel to my job, discovering in turn watercolor, pastel, oil and acrylic. After a few figurative drawings, I quickly moved towards the abstract by letting myself be guided by the color.
I started by touching the material, then I tasted the knife and it is finally with the softness of the brush that I started to find myself. My encounter with Vedic Art in 2020 allowed me to understand how I function and made me discover the dialogue that takes place between the canvas and myself.
