I was born in Armenia in 1990, a time when the sweet melodies of my native country began to shape my perception of the world. From a young age, I was drawn to the colors, shapes, and textures around me, and that is how my artistic journey began. The first marks of my brushes on the paper were like the first notes of a still unknown melody. I come from a multicultural family: my mother's side is Armenian and Greek, and my father's side is Austro-Hungarian and Russian. Growing up with this rich and diverse background has profoundly influenced my worldview and cultural understanding. My path led me to the Yerevan State Academy of Fine Arts, where I undertook a Bachelor of Arts History. It was there, between the ages of 17 and 20, that I dove deeply into the study of applied arts and art history. It was in the Vazgenian seminar which was a revelation, opening the door to the abstract for me. My paintings began to reflect not only what I saw, but also the emotions and thoughts swirling within me. I quickly found my own creative space, my workshop, where I could give free rein to my creativity. At the age of 20, I dared to present my creations to the world through two exhibitions. It was as if my works spoke for me, telling my story, my inspirations and my dreams. My path then guided me to France, where I chose to settle. The years that followed were full of preparation and reflection. I draw on the experiences of everyday life, drawing inspiration from the emotions that emanate from human interactions and the nature that surrounds me. And in December 2022, I finally felt that I was ready to reveal myself to the general public, to share my inner universe with the outside world. This is how my first exhibition took place in Monaco, a pivotal moment which marked a new stage in my artistic journey.
