Inspired deeply by the conceptual art movement, Æ2381's graphic imagery is based on the dirty, dark and raw street art, wildly show technical and engineering artefacts emerging from some dark place. Æ2381's work has it's inspiration in graphic design and engineering aike, mixing it with an underlying dirty and intentioned unfinished style, here we can see iconography from vehicles, machinery or design objects mixed with abstract digital symbology in ascii characters.

In Æ2381 artworks' the space left to the emptiness is a constant. Whether you adhere to the idea of the void or not, these works give you a sense of relieve as balance in the artwork is always under control.

In the end, the experience in seeing one of his works is a sense of an unfinished raw piece, inspired by the traditional Japanese aesthetics concept of wabi-sabi, the world view focused on the acceptance of transience and imperfection. The aesthetic is sometimes described as one of appreciating beauty that is "imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete" in nature.
