Artist Biography

Born into a family of painters from the North of France and Belgium, she became aware of the work of light at a very early age. During her training at the Atelier Met de Penninghen (Ecole Supérieure d'Arts Graphiques- Académie Julian), she was spotted at the age of twenty for her invented technique consisting of a collage of fragments of magazine paper on canvas, which is then discoloured and finally painted with oil paint. The result is a particular transparency described as the "stained glass effect". She immediately received her first prizes (the Hurepoix prize from her first participation, then the Young Painting prize at the Grand Palais) and made her first official sales at Drouot Montaigne (D.Stall contemporary art catalogues). The reception she received from galleries led her to quickly become professional (exclusive contract with Artclub Gallery). This was the beginning of her career: numerous prizes, many exhibitions in France and throughout the world, official Artprice listing, Akoun-Drouot, etc. Among others, she was an official painter invited to the America Literary Salon in Vincennes, Aviation Club de France Champs Elysées Paris, Lanvin St Honoré Paris, numerous galleries in Bastia, Ajaccio, Dinard, Honfleur, Toulouse, Selestat, Paris; and internationally, St Barth, NY, Montreal, San Francisco.
