Period Contemporary (1945-today)

This work is part of the Love In Blue collection that I created in 2017 and 2018, it is a series of 5 large canvases 200 x 140.

Mixed technique: linen canvas, mineral pigment and medium Adam25, and titanium white oil.

A sensual brown by the red, delicate by the delicacy of the sketched line, an invitation to dream towards distant horizons where the wind caresses our skin and fills us with shivers.

The canvases are proposed without American case. Framing on request can be realized.

Artist Biography

Jean-Luc Céléreau de Clercq is a Visual Artist, Architect and Designer by training.

His complementary artistic background at ESAM, leads him from 1977 to 1980 to two Masters of painting of the twentieth century. Michel Sementzeff transmits poetry to him through drawing, Jean Langlois takes him on the search for fundamental aesthetics through figurative painting.

Depending on the artistic subject he undertakes to work on, he chooses to express himself according to the techniques he masters: sculpture, drawing, painting, decor, multimedia, photography. For several years, he has been creating emotional and poetic installations related to everyday life scenes. The artistic projects of Jean-Luc Céléreau de Clercq are based on the reinterpretation of the environmental universe, the detour of creative techniques that are known to us. These projects seek to change the perception we have of it in order to play with an imaginary and poetic world.

They build a new relationship between the work of art and its spectator. By desacralizing art to live it in everyday life, as a creator of emotion. In each of his creations, he offers spectators an unexpected and diverted reading of artistic codes. His approach is part of his research on the mechanism of perception of the environment by creating emotions that act on behavior.

His work is thought-provoking, with an emphasis on the interaction between art and new technologies. He conceives artistic creation as one of the only timeless and sensory markers of history.
