Artist Biography
Anna Rita Angiolelli was born in Pescara where she graduated from the Liceo Artistico and where she resides and works. During her long activity as a painter, she has participated in many competitions and numerous extemporaneous painting events in different locations, collecting wide recognition from critics and the public. She has also held several solo exhibitions in Italy and abroad. Her works can be found in municipalities, churches, public institutions and private collections. Portrait and landscape painter,supporter of naturalistic subjects that are the basis of her own training, she prefers to obtain close-ups by exploiting chiaroscuro contrasts from light and bright hues to shadows obscured with mastery.
