Born in 1977, in the Hauts-de-Seine, Alexandra alias Eklektik lives in Savoie where the mountains are now vital to her balance.
Since childhood, she has always loved art, plastic art, music, photography or others, where emotions are transformed into creations.
Younger, Alexandra dreamed of being a stylist, this fascination for fashion and haute couture today feeds her inspiration in her paintings.
Self-taught, she paints mainly in acrylic, using various techniques such as collage, stencil, spray paint, knife painting ... Also very attracted to writing, she often uses newspapers, pages of books or magazines to work her funds. Alexandra, who appreciates textures, feeling the different materials on the canvas, the reliefs, often paints with her hands.
An eclectic in philosophy is a person who takes what seems the most interesting in each theory.
This definition perfectly reflects her vision of Art. Alexandra does not feel able to impose herself a precise style or a well-defined and always similar technique, what she likes is to discover!
A need to disperse, both in techniques and themes to be able to flourish and progress, because as Victor Hugo said so well "In art, no border".
