Hugo Lorenzo is a French photographic artist. He works and lives in the Paris region.
Initiated very young to photography, his first camera is an Agfamatic 50 offered by his grandfather, himself a semi-professional photographer. Most of the pictures are captured in black & white and developed in the kitchen, transformed into a photo lab for the occasion.
Still a teenager, he equipped himself with a silver reflex camera, a Pentax P50. The shots are then mostly landscapes, as well as some portraits. During this period he also experiments with watercolor and oil painting.
Today equipped with a digital reflex camera, Hugo Lorenzo finds his inspiration in various fields: Nature, macro photography, architecture, portrait, abstract photography ... Geometry, perspectives, curves or reflections are all subjects that allow him to express himself through photography, both color and black & white.
