Bruno COURBIN, whose artist name is Rubbinco, is a photographer born in Gironde in 1962. Self-taught, he nourishes his universe as one opens the door of a large bazaar. Always on a creative quest, he began with acrylic painting on glass, drawing his inspiration mainly from the beauty of women. Fascinated by the plasticity of bodies, he wanted to give birth to mannequins. The imaginary luminescence of a mannequin, who spends her days and nights in a closet, has captivated him. Everything happens through the eyes: she sees him, she follows him, she observes him, she captures his subconscious. Photography confirms her style with the DOMINO effect, a mytic character with humanoid features and infinite metamorphoses.
