Painting done during my travels in Colombia.
In the afternoons, Victoria sells water and drinks on the beach in Santa Marta because, as she explains to me as she gives me the change, the situation with her husband is "complicated".
While handing out fresh bottles to passers-by, she keeps an eye on her daughters' freedom in the waves.
Independant german artist, learning and improving technique as I go. I love capturing the beauty I see during my travels around the world. The more I paint the more I discover about myself from different perspectives. I am trying to share my work for the first time now with the rest of the world, hoping it can also help other people see or discover new sides to themselves and their surroundings. The first series I wish to publish here, is one inspired from my recent travels in Colombia, where I spent 6 months traveling, experiencing nature around me and talking with locals gathering stories, all of it coming together and inspiring me to paint or draw different kinds of landscapes and situations.
