Artist Biography

Born in 1989, Nobody is a French street artist. At the beginning of his career and equipped with a paint bomb, he left his signature on the palisades of cultural places in Brussels. His youthful enthusiasm was channeled into the art of lettering which he practiced on the European subways. A quasi-visceral need pushed Nobody to exteriorize his personal vision of the world.

His work is influences by graffiti and by the Lowbrow movement, evoking the codes of the popular culture.

His drawings combine icons, logos, imaginary characters, to point at the problems of our society. More than just images, his works convey a social message and thus comform to an anti-starization. The artist proposes a social satire of a world inundated with information and disinformation. Our consumerism environment depicted with a passionate and nostalgic tone. Nobody is not someone but everyone, a symbol and compendium of our society which is at the crossroads of street and pop culture. Graffiti blends in the canvases and reinvents itself with provocation and humor. Balloons appear in his canvases, like a supplement of lightness and brightness. A ray of hope can be seen in a poetic fiber. Oneirism is at the service of a better receptivity of false pretenses, conventions, norms and of our Western identity.
