I'm a child of Club Dorothée, I was in front of my TV when Goldorak appeared and his friends followed him. I dreamed and grew up with them. I also spent long hours with my Lego and Big Jims, building and inventing adventures in my bedroom, living room or outside, shaping my own world. After many years of creating and manufacturing in the world of toys, entertainment and decoration, I wanted to rediscover that part of my childhood, the toys I would have loved to have as a child. Unable to find what I was looking for in specialized stores, I decided to create my own ideal versions... By mixing and matching cartoon heroes and the little characters I used to play with, I was able to create my ideal character. And even though I'm still a dreamy child, I've grown up and my character needed to be bigger too. Being a plastic artist, I sculpted the various parts of my master model. Mastering the art of resin, molding and painting, I made silicone molds, cast my resin parts and brought my versions of my heroes to life. The juxtaposition of styles was natural, and my childhood reappeared to me. My large, articulated and unique figurines reminded me of those long, carefree hours of playing and inventing.
Those sensations during the ritual of watching each new episode on a single day at a fixed time, sharing it with friends at school the next day, re-watching the episode during recess... These wonderful memories come back immediately when you see these characters again, there are flashes, smells, places, seasons that you feel right away. Explain to your children the universes we discovered that took us on journeys through time and space. Let them come back to remind us of those happy days of play and adventure.
