Artist Biography
In painting, I work mainly with a knife. I practice oil,
acrylics and I am particularly fond of mixed techniques. My style is often non-figurative. I like the color and the matter. I appreciate particularly the painters Gustav Klimt and Pierre Soulages. I am a self-taught self-taught but my stays abroad (Germany, Guinea Conakry, Comoros), and my travels, have allowed me to meet, and sometimes to work with very different artists like Irina Condé (Russian painter), Modali (Comorian painter). I have, moreover, very early drawn and my scientific studies scientific studies have reinforced this taste for the representation of the fauna and the flora. Then, the meeting of authors, storytellers, musicians and my job as a teacher and my job as a teacher, led me to become an illustrator/author for children and author of songs. In drawing, I particularly appreciate sanguine and inks.
