Ji Songlin

Ji Songlin, born in Wuwei, Anhui in 1989, lives and works in France. In the daily life of post-industrial society, people's unconscious absurd behaviors and objects left behind by absurd behaviors are the objects of their attention; and these behaviors and absurd objects left behind by behaviors interact again with the political and cultural content of society, creating a dialogue. The artist is obsessed with the poetic expression of the behavior itself, sympathizes with the temperature of the material itself, and uses the language of installations and images to dramatize everyday absurd behavior, reinforcing people's sense of powerlessness in real society.
