Biography

Painter in the Paris region with an almost self-taught background except for a few years of weekly classes, I have been exhibiting in France and abroad since 2014, from exhibitions to fairs or galleries.

Halfway between the figurative and the abstract, my work aims to point out feelings and emotions through antagonisms. Indeed, my favorite themes are the contrasts between somewhat contradictory cohabitations, such as the coldness of cities softened by the surrounding nature, the roundness of waves and clouds found in straight abstract lines, or women, with pieces of bodies or the emphasis put on a look even more than on a portrait. Without forgetting sometimes also the liveliness of the liberating abstract. Swarming with ideas, I find my own ways to implement and enhance them.

I like to propose an attractive visual whole to then make the glance carry towards the detail, to take the spectator inside my painting, to let him imagine, to watch for the life which is there. On canvas or other support, I paint in acrylic or mixed techniques, often with the addition of materials, and we frequently find gold, symbol of brightness, in different forms, paint, pure pigments, leaf ... I paint as I am, that is to say without pretension, with my flaws and my strengths, but I admit to make a point of honor to achieve very personal works, in a style that is not found elsewhere.
