Biography

Born in Marseille, Michel Puschiasis has always been attracted to art and the world of creation. He joined the Marseille School of Art and Architecture, which definitively transformed his curiosity into a passion for art. Part of his professional life has been focused on the act of building. This activity will not prevent him from remaining linked to the world of art and in particular from exhibiting in various galleries and salons, until this passion becomes for him the driving force of his activity.

The motif is not the determining factor in the creation, it is only the support for a spontaneous emotion, the pretext to seize an expression, a movement which will give life to a new composition. The goal is not to copy a subject but to create an arrangement that suggests an emotion, an unusual harmony and that brings a new vision of the composition. Through each of his works Michel Puschiasis exposes the emotional vision of the model. The bodies and faces that are the main themes of his work come to life through the assembly of various media, charcoal and ink and black stone. The capture of a moment of sadness, joy or reverie and the subject is nothing but vibration and emotion. Behind an imaginary screen, the subject expresses a serenity that is displayed as a counterpoint to the overkill of competitiveness and stress in which we are immersed in our current life. Some points of suspension for a world in perpetual acceleration.
