"Marie-José Domenjoz is an artist whose professional creative career has led her from graphic design to free and personal research in painting. Her painting is abstract, expressive, gestural with some figurative resurgences ready to hide or dissolve. She is inspired by the human, the silhouettes, the crowd, the look, the face. She approaches the relationship of the individual to the world, the fragile human condition. She likes the freedom of the line, it is an intuitive painting, a fight between chaos and order, between simple and complex. Her work is held in private collections in the United States and Europe.
