Cédric Taling

Born in 1976, Cédric Taling is a French artist.

At the age of 12, he took his first painting lessons. He then entered the Ecole Boulle and later on, the Ecole de graphisme of Valenciennes. He started an artistic career in the world of illustration and of animated films, even if he continued painting during his free time.

In 2007, Cédric Tailing decided to devote himself exclusively to painting. He gets inspired by Pop Art, mangas and cartoons, borrowing from the American and Asiatic culture, in order to create modern pieces. His artistic style is characterized by a particularly graphic trait, an structured composition and great realism. Cédric Taling takes as reference images from the 80s in order to depict superheros or anonymous saturated with color.
