Deplano

DEPLANO is a painter from a family of painters, from whom he has inherited a concern for the craft. He figuratively plays with themes of modernity, highlighting their absurdities in a derisive manner. Through his artworks, Deplano invites us to scrutinize the depths beneath appearances.

For the past few years, the artist has been navigating between abstraction and figuration, expressing himself through painting, sculpture, and installations. DEPLANO received his first painting prize in 1968 at the age of 10 in Grasse, Alpes-Maritimes, where he lives and works.
