Annemarie Laffont

Born in the Netherlands in 1973, Annemarie Laffont has been drawing since she was very young. After her studies in architecture, she settled in the south of France. The artist began her career with architectural drawings in India ink, oil portraits of animals, watercolor portraits of children, and even caricatures. Since then, she has specialized in acrylic animal painting, always infused with a touch of humor. Her paintings often tell a little story. Old windows and cupboard doors find a second life and frequently become a part of her works, adding to their unique and authentic quality. For years, she has been exhibiting regularly in her region, but it's only this year that she has dedicated herself full-time to her painting, aiming to introduce her works to a larger audience.
