Biography

Painting sometimes allows me to find fleeting moments of passed-out sensations, and I try in vain to perpetuate them on canvas with painting. I find the sweetness of long but full time, embroidery, knitting, crochet which encourages the reverie. Little by little, the frame is built, the object takes shape, the hands move, the spirit wanders, time becomes so the painting can be like in Alice in Wonderland (by Lewis Carroll) to see the smile of the cat even when it is no longer there.

Of course, I think of Penelope to undo and redo the destiny of women who accomplish vain and repetitive tasks.

It is hardly to be for that that the spider's web made me want to work both in painting and in engraving. This fragile web refers me to these works of threads designed by skillful and patient hands that defy time and testify to past lives, so in my work, I sometimes include these worn objects signs of the past time, I enjoyed doing it. I hope you will have fun seeing them.
