Biography

It was at the Villa Arson art school in Nice that I developed and shaped my artistic practice over a period of five years, until I obtained my DNSEP with the compliments of the jury. I then went on to study for a Master's degree in Visual Arts until I obtained my CAPES, which enabled me, among other things, to strengthen my theoretical and cultural approach to art.

My work reflects an interest in the various forms of life. The wild landscapes I depict lie at the crossroads of observation and imagination; tinged with dreamlike imagery, they reveal so many regions and corners of a world close to our own, but without the human footprint, where life peacefully abounds. In each image, I seek to evoke wonder through patterns, textures, light and color. The beings that populate these environments are sometimes akin to chimeras, tipping my works, which often originate from field studies, into the realms of fantasy and reverie. For my two-dimensional creations, I mainly use airbrush, acrylic paint, colored pencils and markers. I also practice sculpture, which I like to exhibit in public spaces, such as at the Arts Ephémères 2021 festival, or Thorenc d'art 2017, where I won first prize.
