Biography
My name is Eva Lamaignere and I come from a small village in the Landes region of Aquitaine, in France. Originally, nothing predisposed me to fall into the art world... For my family and friends, it's an unknown sector, however, I fell into it. Since childhood, I have always had an attraction to drawing. An attraction so strong, that it gradually became a passion, especially since my adolescence. At that time, I painted, I drew portraits in my room. I did not show my works, out of discretion and fear of judgment.
Self-taught at heart, I learned painting alone and all art techniques. I tested, I loved, I hated, I improved... let's get back to the fact that I loved, that I am passionate and that I transmit to you today my canvases. It only took a click... for me to finally show my work to the world.
Drawing a lot of inspiration from society, my generation and my loved ones, I paint the lives of the women around me. Being a woman myself, I feel fully involved in our place and the role we have in this new society. I want to convey the power and self-acceptance of each woman. Small, tall, thin, curvy, white, black, introverted, extroverted, our difference is our strength. Let's exploit it.
