Biography

My life is the story of a resilience through painting and after a serious accident 20 years ago, I devote myself entirely to creation through a deep and broad practice covering various methods and materials that promote variety and the freedom of my style. By celebrating the epiphanies of nature and that of my interior landscapes through a poetics of the passage from matter to Light, I aspire to a spirituality, to a harmony of the relationship of man to nature, often in through the prism of nostalgia, questioning what seems to be in question: the unity of man and the cosmos, the unity of man and meaning.

Attentive to the passage of time and to the subtle modulations of light, I thus paint impermanence on a path turned towards the essential, whose simple pictorial formula brings unity: affirmation of the spiritual value of matter, chromatic unity minutely reduced, finally emptiness and fullness through the correlation of symbolic and meditative natural elements such as mountains and water. By translating transient and intangible natural phenomena, I seek to raise awareness of the need to defend life and nature because in the depths of impermanence, there is an awakening, a reflection on the fragility of life and the quest of meaning.
