Yves Guillard

After the “Poems”, acrylics on canvas, illustrating works by Rimbaud, Baudelaire, Vian, Prévert, Ronsart…. and the creation of 14 “Stations of the Cross” on 160 × 130 canvases, Yves Guillard is inspired by Street Art for his works “Face aux murs”. 

He uses mixed media, acrylic, Indian ink, tags and torn poster collages to recreate the Street Art of our urban walls. His large format canvases express the duality of this art where the abstract blends with the figurative. The artist places the gaze "at the foot of the wall" of his creation.
