Biography

Born in 1989, Adèle Tilouine is a painter-plastician from the Paris region, whose main interest is in the aesthetics of the cellular scale.
After graduating from the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales in 2013 with a Master's degree in Social Sciences specializing in visual studies, she completed a pre-doctorate in Museum Anthropology, working in a consulting firm and then in a modern art gallery before finally turning to artistic creation.
Adèle Tilouine explores the aesthetics of the microscopic scale through a variety of media (oil and natural pigment painting, glass and stained glass, drawing, photography, video, installations). She has been exhibiting since 2012, both in solo and group shows, festivals and fairs. Registered with the Maison des Artistes since 2014, she offers her creations for sale in France as well as in China.
She cultivates her passion for art through her own creations but also as a player in the promotion of contemporary art artists. She writes portraits of artists on her personal blog, Innovisuel, and is involved with several art associations.

Equally interested in curating exhibitions, she notably organized the exhibition Homéostasie, an event referenced by ArtCOP21 (an art festival held in parallel with COP21, the global climate conference), enabling eight contemporary artists to express themselves on the theme of homeostasis.
