Biography

Claud, an artist bathed since her early childhood in the fragrant and colorful universe of her cousins' decorator's workshop, comes from a classical training in a school of applied arts.

A graduate in decorative painting and visual expression, Claud honed her skills in Christophe Durand's studio in Nantes (Meilleur Ouvrier de France) by practicing the technique of trompe l'oeil and airbrushing.

In her current pictorial universe, Claud makes full use of her androgynous spirit, which is expressed on her canvases and floats in her "magnetosphere". Where is the painter? She's having fun!

Today, Claud lets her creation evolve towards a certain "figurative-destructuralism". In its theme "Crossed Views", the viewer feels carried away into a baroque, colorful, offbeat universe, as if caught up in a plethora of hybrid portraits with strong attractive power.

Her strange, deep, intense "crossed looks" immediately raise questions about identity, gender, diversity, equality; so many reflections, we could not be more topical.
