Biography

I've been drawing and painting since early childhood. As a teenager, I attended the Beaux Arts in Caen. Then I met a group of modern artists from the New York school. Professional interlude: I became a specialized educator and developed Art Therapy. At the dawn of my fifties, I made a radical decision to make up for lost time in my passion for painting. I enroll at L'Atelier Conta in Caen. L'ESAM; école supérieure d'art et médias. Courses at the Louvre Museum of Fine Arts.

My painting, rather narrative, evolves towards expressionist figuration. Always in search of movement, energy, vitality, color and musicality. My favorite themes are dance, parties, crowds and the sea, its regattas and bad weather. I also want to trigger emotions in the viewer and transport them into an imaginary world of their own.

I was lucky enough to be selected by Artistes en Normandie and won the prize of the city of Caen in 2016 . The Demaret gallery in Giverny also exhibited my work with WHO,S WHO art Internationale. Since then, I've been pursuing my research, feeding my intellect in order to nourish my painting.

My work is now evolving towards a more or less figurative abstraction. Movement is always present, it is that of the soul, of feeling, of the impact of life, of passion and can suspend time and from there, perceive, feel, create....
