Biography

Painter, Aurélie Pfaadt, by her artist name LadyPoppies lives in Nice, in the south of France.

Artistic studies in the applied arts of Strasbourg and many years of practice, make Aurélie Pfaadt a recognized artist. Her works are clearly influenced by her experience, modern and colorful painting (Nikki de Saint Phalle, Keith Haring, JoneOne, Jackson Pollock). She participates in numerous exhibitions in France and abroad. Its rating is constantly changing.

LadyPoppies renews itself, always driven by the immortal appeal of color. His latest Acrylic Tags and Graffitis for Poppies collection was a resounding success upon its release. These last works are in abstraction while keeping his signature Poppies and Poppies. This collection was presented in Paris at the Grand Palais in February 2018. A retrospective of his last 10 years and his latest collection were exhibited at the Casino le Flamingo du Grau du Roi. Laudatory articles on this exhibition appeared in the Midi Libre press in May 2018.

Rich and lively palette, like a Rainbow. His creations are an ode to color and light, intended to be soothing and dreamlike. His compositions are harmonious and under a first structured approach, between abstract improvisation and modern figurative painting, his painting is above all intuitive and always renewed with as common thread the poppy flower. The flowers dance on his canvases and these represent the woman, which justifies the sensual side of his works.
