Nicolas Denigot

Nicolas Denigot is a contemporary French painter. An instinctive and visceral art through his art, Nicolas Denigot makes an introspection of the human being, his state of mind, his emotions, his desires. In his works appear multiple faces, masks without distinction of origins: interbreeding is a strong value of his work. The colors on the canvas are meant to be bright, strong and intense to show the multiplicity of emotions that we can experience. There is a tension, a stress, an angst, an underlying rage, tormented gazes and eyes watching us out of nowhere always trying to see us through. A permanent bubbling in the canvas, a rhythm, a saturation, an uncontrollable energy: everything intertwines, mixes, in a kind of organized chaos which gives life to the work.
