Frédéric Cadiou
Frédéric Cadiou is a French painter born in 1980. He is originally from southern Finistère in Brittany, where his studio is based. His paintings depict landscapes, enhanced by a bold use of shadows and light, drawing the eye towards the horizon. The fluidity of the lines, the clean contours, and the measured choice of colors create calm, serene, contemplative atmospheres. His work suggests the interaction between nature and human perception through a reduced palette and dynamic composition. Main exhibitions: 2025: Escale des arts, Archipel, Fouesnant. 2024: Hôtel Garrigae Cap Coz, Fouesnant 2023: Hôtel Garrigae Cap Coz, Fouesnant 2023: Galerie Lapidarium, Prague 2022: Festival Les Filets Bleus Concarneau 2022: Hôtel Garrigae Cap Coz, Fouesnant 2021: L’Art Suspendu—Sanary-sur-Mer
