Biography

Very young, a drawer by instinct, I started painting in the 60s with reproductions of Renoir, then quickly created my own visuals.

I began to exhibit in regional and then national exhibitions around the 70s, such as the Grand Palais or the Orangery of the Senate of Paris. Then, creator and animator of a section "arts déco" within the framework of the works council of a major account, I invite during five years, in our workshop, teachers and students of last year of the Beaux-arts of Toulouse to exchange around art and its techniques.

Later, with my wife, we create our communication agency and so I remain in the field of art by practicing in turn graphic creation on computer as well as silkscreen printing on any support thanks to a workshop integrated into the agency.

Today my work in constant evolution is nourished by memories of many travels around the world, expressed in an expressionist style then "Pop art" and "Urban" or is based on the illustration of texts by Jacques Prévert, Paul Fort or Boris Vian put into songs by Brassens and many others.

Rich of a broad period of creation of more than forty years my work, figurative, takes a particular dimension by combining the line of the drawing, sometimes academic but often freer and guided by the unconscious, the artistic considerations, the richness of the materials and the subtle vibration of the colors.
