Catherine CAYSSIALS was born in Albi
Painting came into her life in an unexpected way, as nothing until then had foreshadowed this artistic career.
She immediately asserts her personal style, which she refines and develops unceasingly.
Her figurative work marked by the work of colors expresses a real appetite for life and movement.
Her talent was quickly recognized and she regularly won prizes, diplomas and trophies in various exhibitions and shows. She was well represented at the Salon d'Automne in Paris and at the MCA in Cannes.
After trying her hand at a wide variety of exercises: characters, animals, landscapes, flowers... For more than two years she has been deepening the theme of vegetation.
Her colorful gardens and undergrowth - in turn tender and serene or gushing and bubbling - offer perspective and sensations. They seem to evoke the gardens of Eden.... The search for lost paradises.
