Sunday painter, no professionnal and self-taught, I started in painting trying to copy some Monet.
Passionate about the impressionist period and inspired by it, I work my paintings on various themes according to my favorites.
Little interested in ephemeral fashions or in the frantic search for artistic buzz, I strive above all to be faithful to Renoir's doctrine:
"For me a painting should be a lovable, happy and pretty thing, yes pretty! There are enough pesky things in life that we don't make more."
