Biography

I have been painting since I was a little girl. My parents had the brilliant idea of buying me a plastic easel when I was 4 years old, and I have never stopped painting since.

I was bored with painting classes at school, I felt like I would never fully express myself, like I was trapped in a straitjacket. I ran away from a painting class when my teacher asked us to draw a still life chicken.

I paint today as a self-taught artist and I follow my emotions as they come. I don't particularly try to convey a message, rather emotions.

Sometimes I have flashes and images of paintings that I would like to create at night before going to sleep. In the morning when I wake up, I can't wait to get to work because I'm afraid I'll forget what I've imagined.

Painting is for me a way to externalize my emotions and to make others experience them.
