Gautier DEBLONDE
Gautier Deblonde was born in Rouen and moved to London to work as a photographer in 1991. A series of his artists portraits was published by the Tate Gallery in 1999. He worked together with Australian sculptor Ron Mueck (who was on show at the Cartier Foundation in 2005) for the making of "Boy". This series of images was published by the Anthony d'Offay Gallery at the Venice Biennale and won the 1st prize at the World Press 2001. In 2002 he collaborated with Scotish director Lynne Ramsay for the film "Morvern Callar" and has published a book with the same title (Screenpress 2002). His photographs were on show at the National Portrait Gallery, Tate Britain, Tom Blau Gallery, La Chambre Claire. His work as a portrait photographer has been published in the media all over the world.
