MC Garbage

Born in April 1975, MC Garbage lives and works in Brussels. The artist creates realistic paintings that actually denounce the latent problems linked to our way of life. His works, illustrating full garbage cans, waste and symbols of pop culture, are a critique of the excesses and contradictions of our society. Largely inspired by popular imagery, some of the artist's works, notably illustrating cartoon characters, remind us of the works of pop artist Roy Lichtenstein.
