At the beginning I discovered the work of the earth and from it, filiform and colored characters of distant countries appeared.
Today, the Atelier Piquifou has existed for more than twenty years ( website).
I also wanted to show my interest in textile art, clothing, color, but in another form than sculpture, and why not pictorial art.

Cardboard already has its letters of nobility thanks to artists who transform it into design or contemporary furniture. I wanted to expose it on walls. This fiber has fulfilled all my creative desires.

Africa and Asia are essential themes in my artistic work, as well as the color which is essential to my balance and my joy of living.
Fascinating Africa with its magnificent baobabs, its cracked earth, its women in their colourful clothes.
Asia with its magnificent silks, its geishas full of delicacy and refinement with their sublime kimonos.

Each painting is a journey and I would like to transmit through my creations this fascination for these distant countries full of emotion and enthusiasm.
