Flora Pachelska

I was born in Poland and have lived in Paris, then in the Paris region, since 1981. I have always been passionate about art, but I chose English as the subject of my studies. A year of art history at the Ecole du Louvre completed my knowledge.

The twenty-four years of work at Editions du Cerf as an iconographer were a joy of my professional life. I only moved on from artists in 2018, thanks to a meeting with a painter of Polish origin, Hélène Szumanski.

It was she who taught me the techniques of abstract painting and infected me with her love of action in art. I have exhibited some of my work in 2021 and early 2022 in Bourg-la-Reine, the city of my current residence. In August 2022 the Gallery "LM Art Honfleur" hosted 15 of my paintings. There, it is Léa Rime who invited me to exhibit in her Parisian Gallery "Libre est l'Art" from November 12 to 18, 2022.
