Erik Arsène

It's never too late for a second life!

After a busy professional career, Erik wanted to take up the pencils and brushes of his youth and give them a new lease on life.

Quote from the artist: "(...) at school, I drew my spelling, I illustrated my lessons, my best grade was often in drawing (...)".

Years passed and Erik Arsène went through the Maison des Arts d'Evreux to perfect his knowledge in painting and improve his pictorial skills. All the techniques that he now explores and that he mixes with pleasure in letting go are a source of experimentation. This freedom of expression has led him to abstraction.

Mixing conscious and unconscious resonances, he brings to life an exaltation in his works. The elaboration is surprising and rapid. The colors, the lines and the volumes are an abundance of ideas inexpressible by the word.
