Annie Cicatelli

Annie Cicatelli, journalist by profession, has always loved to use textile art to express herself and to show us what her desires are. She also uses it to express some feelings.

At the beginning, the artist was an embroiderer only by passion. Annie Cicatelli now focuses her interest on unstructured and raised elements and more particularly on crochet decoration.

A double objective: to give back to crochet the modernity that this technique deserves and to work mainly with recycled material: wool, cotton, lace, buttons, beads...

Her textile works are most often abstract but extremely rich in matter and color, which gives them a unique style that takes us straight into this universe that is hers!
